It is truly shocking and disappointing to see how US officials present double standards in global political affairs.
They see perfectly well all the crimes and law braking around the world - except of The Middle East.
They are just totally blind for evident war crimes and international law braking by Israel.
Yes, that conflict is practically unresolvable. Yet, US officials should stand for what's right and not to shame and fake extremity barbaric reality and destruction of Gaza.
Many US officials respond to questions from press in this same manner - when they asked an incontinent question - most of the time they try to slightly change the subject, make it softer and they seam to present someones else point of view.
More shameful US position is shown through it's stand against International Criminal Court. Once ICC made verdict about Israel war crimes in Gaza - US stands against it.
In September 2018, President Donald Trump criticized the Court before the United Nations that "ICC has no jurisdiction, no legitimacy, and no authority. The ICC claims near-universal jurisdiction over the citizens of every country, violating all principles of justice, fairness, and due process."
And current Biden Administration seams to continue this same position.
US Congress members - both democrats and republicans - also push back against possible ICC prosecutor's Israel arrest warrant.
As an antidote - the whole situation reminds me movies like Dances with Wolves and Avatar.
When main characters realize that their own kind is committing a serious crimes – to make justice, they turn against it's own kind.
